Stephen Taylor results from Age Group Worlds

On June 7th I raced Age Group World Championships in Vancouver, BC. This is the equivalent of Hawaii Ironman for Olympic Distance. My results were originally posted as 13th, but it seemed pretty clear there were some individuals who had not completed the whole course.

When they FINALLY fixed the results I got 11th in M30-34! Thank you everyone for supporting me on this goal. This is definitely one of my best results ever.

My friend and competitor Eric Bell from Knoxville had the amazing result of winning the entire race outright. Congratulations Eric!!! He was no doubt aided by the duathlon format (swim was cancelled.) It makes me feel better about the many times Eric has kicked my butt!
